So, sakuracon was awesome, as usual. It seemed a little more subdued though, which was weird, but that was probably just because there weren't any random tackle glomps (and no Kyuubi's tried running off with shan again this year XD )

Photoshoots were awesome and amazing; Samurai 7 was like a big giggle fest (yay for random crazy pairings ?) and the tales shoots were epic, but a little smaller than last year (and would have been AMAZING if the cosplayer-who-shall-not-be-named hadn't kept showing up, and getting infront of EVERY CAMERA again like last year, but oh well).

Shan didn't have time to get her hair cut for Lloyd before we left, so I had to cut it thursday in our hotel room (the joke being, that whoever cleaned up the bathroom later, would probably wonder if she was running from something, and trying to change her appearnce ). I pretty much just chopped off whatever didn't fit when it was styled, since she planned to get it recut (PROPERLY) when we got back anyway. So, that was interesting to do.

I got to wear my mostly-done!Kratos for the first time, which was good because now I know what needs to be fixed up a little for mobility (like, my binding vest? Need to make a new one, that doesn't kill my shoulders when worn with Kratty >_< ).

haha, I was very close to bitching out the-cosplayer-who-shall-not-be-named because not only did he keep going infront of the group pictures (height difference? YES) but he kind of scarred a little girl. We were walking towards the dealers room, and she just came up behind me, tugged on my sleeve, and asked "Kratos, can I get a picture?" which I thought was adorable, because she looked like she was five(and if kids that young are playing tales games, then AWESOME), and the camera she was holding was almost the size of her face, so I was all, "Yeah, sure, no prob" and was going to do a not-scowling-Kratos becaaaause, I didn't want to glare at the kid. As soon as she raised the camera up, I heard aN "oh, hold on, I'll get ready!" and was thinking 'take the picture and run, child!' and he stood half in front of me when she took the pic. She looked a little freaked out, and went back to her parents. QUICKLY.

gah. so annoying *could rant and rave about this for a while*

there are no epic escalator stories this year (like, when Nell yelled at that Lloyd cosplayer the first time I wore Sheena --->[link] aaaaand, like last year, when I was cosplayed as Martel, and was going up the escalator while Yuan was going down, and we freaked ppl out by the 'Yuan!' 'Martel! DON'T DIE' 'NOOOOOES' 'COME BAAAAACK DON'T LEEEEAVE ME' 'YUUUUUAN' totally awesome, but confusing to the ppl who were ALSO on the escalator)

although, there was the one guy who broke into DR. Horrible's 'A man's gotta do' on the escalator after we had JUST been talking about it, and giggled over it, which was expected and awesome.

Shan and I didn't end up going to the rave/dance or the Masquerade (which ~ripplednell and ~ShinoWings went to) because we were tired.

my Kratos cosplay scared Nell once, when I had him hanging up in the bathroom. He can pretty much stay together as a one-piece, sooo, yeah. Yay for surprises?

I pretty much was usually in bed before 11 (which is WEIRD, because I'm usually up till 12-1 am) and was usually the first awake (ALSO WEIRD)

AHAHA, on sunday morning, I got a call from on of my older sisters while Shan and I were heading towards the TOA photoshoot, and was informed that my dog was refusing to eat, and had been since I left (though, they did convince him to eat some cat food, but only once, and not a lot) and had taken to hiding in the laundry room. So, I was kinda worried about him until I got home that evening (which was around 7:30pm). LOLZ, I don't think I've ever seem him hop'n jump around so much. Crazy dog. I even picked him up because I'm still a little worried he'll throw his hip out again (although, the first time was because of a car, so it's not like he can help it >_< ) and he still tried to jump around like crazy. Then he started chowing down on his food, and my dinner, and Shan's dinner, so it's safe to say he's eating again.

Apparently, my dog suffers from seperation anxiety? *is shot*

but yeah, came home to that, and a very pregnant cat by the front door. You'd be suprised how VERY pregnant a cat can get in just four days. She's HUGE now, and she wasn't like that when we left.

Oh well, yay for upcoming kittens. Gibbs will be jealous.

Speaking of which, Gibbs, my ever-so-stupid-yet-loving-cat has taken to using his head for EVERYTHING. If it needs a door open, he rams it with his head, and keeps pushing until the door pops open, and if ppl aren't careful, he head butts them in the chin with the excuse of demanding attention.

So, he's taking the 'use your head' saying a little too literally. I'm thinking of changing his name to Goku, cause it'd probably fit (yay for DBZ references?)

anywho, next con is AE, in the middle? of June. So, in a week, maybe, I'll get working on Yuri again, and Sorata (from X) for Shan, and if those are done before the con, I'll start on Flynn for Shan (we've got some of the fabric cut out already, just needs to be sewn ) and between all of that, I'll try to finish Kratos (who I'm gonna be taking a little break from, since I've spent TOO much time on him recently )

Hopefully, Flynn will be done in time for Kumoricon (as well as a couple other new cosplays, but they're not that big, or of great concern, sooo, yeah).
