Halloween's coming up, and I'll be running around in my Yuri cosplay. With finished boots. yay. Sister!Lloyd (hahaha, I've started calling her this, she responds to it *giggle/snort* ) will be cosplaying as Guy, since she wore Lloyd last year. So, hopefully pictures up after that.

...or more like: when my laptop gets a new keyboard, and stops hating me. I've been without the use of Satoshi for a while now, and it's weeeeeird. 1-3 more weeks and the keyboard'll be in XD XD (note: there should never be more than 1 flower vase in a room. ever. Having 6 in a room full of electronics is ASKING for trouble X_X )

my parents came home for thanksgiving, and stayed for a week. As a surprise, my dad headed back to california (for work), and left my mother here. For two weeks.

She's decided we need to spring clean EVERYTHING. *head desk*

along with that, our christmas decorations are up. It's some kind of long standing family tradition. We decorate the first week of November, but my mom's heading back to Cali. next week, and won't be here for it, sooo...the tree is up, lights are up, and I swear she's been trying to play christmas music.

Cosplaaaaaaay:

SakuraCon: I've almost finished deciding what I'll be doing. I'm doing a group cosplay with my cosplay group --> :iconanimeN3RD5: of Baccano. So I'll be doing Isaac for sure, and Shan'll be Jacuuzi.

Tales wise: I'll be wearing Yuri again (fixed up a little) Shan'll be Flynn (all we have to do right now is the cape and armor ). Otherwise, we're toying with the idea of doing alternate TOA cosplays. I'd be doing Wild Saber!Luke, and Shan would do Blade Master!Guy.

I'll also be fixing up my Martel cosplay (new wig, re-do stuff ext. ). Seraphim group FTW!

...and I REALLY want to do a TOS2 cosplay.

I've narrowed it down to Richter or Decus.

Decus is winning, though, because of his AWESOME finger pointing skillz. XD

so, basically, it'd be either a new Luke cosplay, or a TOS2 one. I could try for both, but one of them won't get finished

depending on when Kumoricon and AE are, I think my sister and I will go again next year ^^

so, since my sister and I will need sleep for our 6+ hour drive down, we decided not to finish Flynn in favor of sleep. >_>

I'm finishing Yuri right now, which won't take all that long (just gotta add the fun little stripy stuff on his vest/jacket thing, aaaand, then he's done. My sister's will probably wear her Sorata cospaly, since we've got the wig now, while I wear Yuri, or she'll just do Lloyd again.

Anywho, our plans are:

Saturday: TOA, so we'll be Luke and Guy XD

Sunday: TOS, Kratos and Lloyd FTW XD. I might we wearing Yuri for the first time later on this day (depending on when the tales photoshoot ends...or something?)

Monday: Possibly Yuri again.

anywho, we're leaving in about...3-4 hours.

so yeah, finishing Yuri, and then sleeping. I get the first driving shift.

So, depending on how much work Shan and I get done on cosplays this weekend (saturday is the last day before the con that we BOTH have off of work. so, much sewing will be done. hopefully), Yuri and Flynn will hopefully be done. Except for the armor *is shot*. So, it'll be more like Yuri and an armor-less Flynn *facepalm*. We'll work on the armor after the con, though, soooo, probably get pictures from that, and she'll wear it to SakuraCon, soo...yeah XD

Otherwise, I'll be bringing Luke and Kratos (on whatever days the photoshoots are planed for ), aaaand, Kyuzo (assuming of course there's a Samurai 7 photoshoot?), and Shan will (aside from Flynn) be bringing Guy and Lloyd.

We'll be leaving REALLY early saturday morning, so we'll probably get there around noon? 'ish? Assuming we don't get lost >_>

anywho, I figured I'd offer out my cell # for anyone we'll be meeting up with down there (because chances are, we'll get LOST *head-desk* ), for random cosplay crazyness, hanging out, ext. Just ask, and I'll send it in a note XD

So, thought I'd update this thing, and change the AE journal entry

First off, Cosplay update!

Yuri is getting close to being finished, just have to finish up the boot covers, the vest-jacket part (which is mostly done ), and the blastia is just about done.

My other new cosplay for the con is about 50% done. And it shouldn't take me too long to finish. XD

Flynn is...gah. Basically, it's really frustrating. First, the wig I ordered showed up, and was A LOT darker than it was supposed to be. It's practically brown, which, obviously, is NOT the right color (it was a light blond in the picture, I hace NO IDEA what happened). So, I had to order a second one, which is awesome and perfect, and just showed up. So, I need to style that still. I ordered black gloves, and RED ones showed up, and the wonderflex was out of stock, so that took a lot longer to finally show up. We've started sewing (Shan was serious about the whole 'learning how to sew' thing, sooo, she's been helping with the sewing stuff so far). So, basically, we finally got the things needed to make Flynn, with just over a month before the con. I was hoping for more time for it, but...meh, this works, I guess?

Otherwise, life updates, I guess.

So, before and after AE, I had a couple doctors appointments, and blood work done. Nothing serious, of course .

Basically, they're telling me I'm anemic STILL *facepalm* (I have been since I was 14, not sure why they thought that'd suddenly change >_< )and a few other things (which I'm sure no one wants to hear about, because they're slightly more personal ) but, along with the whole anemia thing, they've informed me that my 'iron reserves' are low, and basically gone. Soooo, yeah, this just means that I'm REALLY tired. So I'm on mandatory iron supplements.

gah. It kind of sucks. No matter how much sleep I get, I'm still tired, and it's at the point where I just get home from work and collapse on the couch. So, I haven't been on line as much as usual.

I've also somehow gotten into Smallville. That show is addictive. By A LOT. >O<

Sooo, yeah.

aside from all that, we're having really hot weather. I'm actually kind of hoping for rain.

soo, anyways, I think that's about everything I can think of XD
